Hi, I'm Ash-
a mother, a builder, a storyteller, and a woman who burned her old life to the ground…
just to remember who she really was.
I created American Wilderness Woman as a place to lay it all down—the heaviness, the hustle, the pretending—and come back to something honest. Something sacred. Something untamed.
I’m not a guru. I’m not perfectly healed.
I’m a woman who’s walked through grief, shame, fire, and silence—and chose to rebuild with both hands in the dirt.
Here, I share the rituals that anchor me.
The food that feeds my family and my soul.
The gear I wear when I’m gathering wood or crying on a mountain.
And the words I needed when I felt invisible.
I believe healing isn’t always pretty.
That softness is a kind of strength.
That a woman in her truth is unstoppable.
If you’re here, I hope you feel that too.
This space is yours now, too.
Welcome home.
This is just the trailhead.
Explore the journal, wear your truth, or reach out to co-create.
